The Comet 30 uses a belt where the flat side goes towards the motor so if you flip the driven and not the driver I think your belt angle would be wrong on the driven unless you flipped the driver and driven together but you would also have to keep the same driver/driven offset as it was originally.

Jackshaft would be the way to go! You could run the driven to the outside of the jackshaft but would need to cover it for safety reasons! :thumbsup:
