#1
Hi

i have a problem with my moto skeeter 450

IGNITION COIL, it *****ed.

www.mbw.com/pdf/manuals/divConstr/EC10D.pdf

Parts that i would need page. 6 fig. 6 , part 2 and 3:

106-70110-08 Generating Assembly
106-70247-08 T.C.I. Unit

Seems there is no way i can get these so i guess i have to throw the engine to scraps. Is there and alternative part i could use to fix this.

What other engine could i replace the current one with if my engine is finished.

thank and have a good day

You can get the parts but it is going to cost you an arm and a leg for them. http://www.hahahahahahahahahahahaha...cks-Model-Diagram/robin/EC10D-Yamamoto/4532-6 It looks like $172 each. OUCH!!

The other solution is the cheap Harbor Freight engine. It should be a swap on the motors. It has a 3/4" shaft that your clutch should bolt right on it. It also has relative the same HP. You will have to change springs in your clutch or get a different one since yours is set up for a much higher rpm range. Someone that knows clutches hopefully will chime in on that subject.

If you are going to scrap your engine later, I'll be interested in it.

Looks like the web page is blocked. Search 'Robin EC10D'. Go to Jack's Small Engines webpage. Click on magneto. Your parts are listed there.
