Predator Swap

Hey folks just looking for a little info.

I want to put a predator 212cc in my Manco Thunderbird frame. I haven't busted out the tape measure but does anyone know if the predator will fit? Will I have to remove the gas tank and switch to a top frame mounted tank? Any info or a thread of a similar project would be great.

Go to Youtube and check out a video called "minibike from hell doing wheelies". Its a Manco Thunderbird with a Predator 212cc swap. The guy does have an aftermarket tank mounted on the frame, but it does look like it has room to fit the original tank. I was able to fit my Predator on my El Tigre with the stock tank, I just had to flip the exhaust to run outboard to clear the sloping frame rails but it fit.
