Thomas wacky chopper restoration

Dad and I finally started the restoration on the wacky chopper. The frame in black is how it was found the the rest are the progress so far. I still have not found the correct tank and I think I might not ever so we will just work around it for now.

I'm just curious isn't that the wrong oil dipper? I thought that type was for vertical engines only. The clean up job on the engine is amazing. Did you blast it or use a stripper?

Good question, but I don't have a good answer. I bought a complete Sears mini bike and robbed the engine off of it for this build. The engine was completely blasted.
