Torque converter issues

#1
I purchased a TC2 torque converter kit for a predator 212 part number 1002p/218353a 1. With the engine sitting on my Alexander Reynolds The mounting plate does not set right.I took the engine off and put it on the workbench installed the plate and the driven wheel (back wheel)of the torque converter.try to follow me here I wish I could post photos but I seem to be having issues with that also. The very bottom of the engine The part that is going to mount to the minibike,The bracket and the driven wheel fall below that plane by an inch and a quarter.my question is do I need to get spacers to raise the engine?was I sold the wrong torque converter?I also see an option I don't know if it's a good one to drill the plate out and tilt it up.any advice would be greatly appreciated.struggling in Cleveland

you will either have to put a spacer plate under the engine or grind off the fin(s) on the back of Tav plate that is hitting the head..

I saw the aluminum plate that I can purchase. I also did the measurements and noticed that my existing gas tank will not work once I install this plate , this whole thing is costing a lot more than I thought.
