My doodlebug has 8 slots on motor plate. Will a predator fit those bolt patterns? or do i need a special motor plate? I saw something about motor plates not working on 8 slot stock plates. Can anyone shine some light on what my options are? Thank you.
My Tecumseh H50 65242H is running rough and I found a good read on checking the coils. Also I want to find out more about the core plate group. My plates seem to have spread apart or fanned out a little and I'm wondering if there is a way to repair it or if it has a huge impact on the firing. My...
So I am building what should be a 69' BC1400. The fork plate has the serial number stamped on the round Bonanza tag, there is no tag or rivet holes on the front of the engine plate that I see should be there.
Did all Bonanzas have an engine plate ID tag
riveted on there? Were there other...
Who has an original Trail Blazer decal that can measure it for me. Also, I would like a picture of it with a tape measure next to it. The one I bought off ebay is way too tall and I would guess it should be the same as a Trail Horse decal. My Trail Horse decal measures out to about 4 3/4 inches...

I just bought a ARC Top Plate from OldMiniBikes. my question is, do you have to remove the governor to use this? Is there any way around just removing the lever? They didn't mention anything about that. I am putting the Red Clone on my sons go kart and had to move the relocate the gas tank.
thx..

Custom Speedway mini bike License Plate for your show bike or use it to dress up your rider.
I had several of these made up for my Speedway bikes. The aluminum plate measures 6 1/2"L x 3 1/4"W. The vinyl logo is modeled after a Speedway patch I saw in an old brochure I have.
PRICE $40
Like the title says, does anybody have a picture of the hot rod minibikes engine swap plate on their DB30 they could post? I'd really appreciate it.
I bought one of the OldMiniBikes ones and I'm feeling like an idiot because I can't figure out exactly how it goes. :doah:
It should bolt...
Anyone know of a commercial product that allows adjustment of the engine's position both forward / backward and side to side? Has anyone built a custom one yet? I’ve been playing around with design ideas, but don’t want to reinvent the wheel if it already exists.
I was wondering if anybody out there has a PMR DB30 motor mount plate kicking around that they aren't using?
If not I'll get a new one but it will cost me $80 shipped, and OldMiniBikes Warehouse is out of stock at the moment.
Thanks guys.
Eric has fabbed up a polyurythanes plate he hopes will provide some decrease in vibrations after mounting between the engine and the frame. He asked for a volunteer to try this out and report back on the findings.
The thread that began this can be found here...
In general, is 1/8" steel thick enough? Im setting up a 6.5 clone > TC > to jackshaft. It seems a little flexy when I set the engine on it but I thought maybe I could re-enforce the bottom with 2-3 steel ribs of angle iron or tube.
Or should I just go up to 1/4"... (I already bought the 1/8"...
