Art Deco pull handle

I ran across this cool old pull handle, I believe it may be off of an old chainsaw.
I put it on one of my old Fairbanks Morse recoil units, appears like it belongs there.

Very cool looking part. :thumbsup: Wouldn't is be fairly simple to take a mold off of one and duplicate them? Anyone still have their Creepy Crawler kit hidden away somewhere? :laugh:

well testors i think it is makes a silicone molding kit. you could use that as the mold and then the hard part getting the wright kind of castable rubber . could be done at home , time would be the big thing .
a person could also press the handle in to soft wax and make a plaster copy . then get some low melt hobby metal like type 160 or 280 and make a metal mold . set up your mold and make them with a castable rubber . would be like making parts for model rail road lay outs just bigger :shrug:

I know I saw BAB's pull handle recently when he sent me a picture. I knew I had seen another somewhere... Well I just came back in from the shop, it was on my AH47. Which has a FM recoil....so your were right Dzlbike:thumbsup:
