Briggs 5hp Copper Color Paint

Painting the engine for my Powell and having a tough time trying to find a close looking Copper type High Heat color ... Any suggestions ... Thanks

I'm not sure you'll find it. I've tried and never could. Doodle bug dave or his son had it color matched and put in a aerosol can, just reg. automotive paint. He told me it worked fine with just a small amount of browning right around the exhaust port.

You and bab asked about the paint but I didn't find where he said what he used ... I found a VHT sp402 Burnt Copper ... High Heat and chemical resistant ... That's the route I'll go I guess ... To have it mixed they want me to buy 12 cans of spray ... If ya find out what he used I'll wait a bit before I paint it ... Thanks again
