looks like it could be an original... 22 maybe?
I was kinda thinking maybe a 44 because of the angle of the emblem :shrug: of course the guard sits straight though????? I dunno much about the tacos, I was more interested in the 1968 date code for another bike I just bought!!

I've only ever seen one other silver 3hp briggs with a big tank that was under 1970 vintage and it was a threaded crank engine on a sidewalk push blower, I still have the recoil housing and it's a 1963 but it has a throttle control mounted to it which ruins it for most.

Markus you are fortunate they did not put minibike or mini bike in the listing title or the bidding would likely have been more spirited, congrats just the same though.

Nice find Markus. I actually saw that engine listed, but promised the wife I wouldn't buy any more engines until I've cleared out the shop a little more.

The good news for you guys is that there will be some engines for sale very soon.
