Difference in 212cc & 196cc predator engines

#1
I have several performance parts for a 212cc predator and would like to know what all the differences are between the 212cc and the 196cc Predator engines. I can buy a 196cc real cheep and would like to know if a flat top piston, non hemi cam, ratio rockers, 26# valve springs, retainers & keepers, angled air filter kit, jet & tube kit, head & side plate gaskets all bought for a 212cc non-Hemi engine and I need to know if it will all fit the 196cc engine before I buy it?
Thanks in advance for any correct info.

ok 5797, I appreciate your response. Wonder if you could tell me what is different, is it the bore or the stroke that makes the increase in cc's?

Yes the predator is a bigger bore than the gx200/196cc clone . Also the Honda /clone and heml have a smaller cam journal the predator cam will not fit in . If you have old style predator parts and a harbor freight nearby best bet is to pick up a predator on sale only around $100 bucks new . If it is a hemi predator cam you have that will work in a clone but not the piston
