Here is a tool I made for work.

Can you guess what its used for ? (its not that difficult to figure out)

Sorry for the lousy cell picture, its all I had out in there.


I'll post a picture of it in use later.
(dont bother looking at my photobucket albums, it's not there :lol:)

OK I wont leave ya hanging although I do love the replys.

Here is a picture of it in use.


Its just a 12V H.F. water pump mounted to a piece of aluminum that holds the hose, hydrant wrench, water test rope with a retractable cord that has an on/off switch and a forward/reverse switch it has a bungee cord so I can just hang it on the hydrants.
(because you just never know what a dog will leave on the ground at a hydrant :lol:)

Is it used to pump out the residual water above the shutoff valve? Like after a hydrant flush or test? So that the exposed hydrant doesn't freeze and burst? :shrug:
