Hey all, new to the forum, and to minibikes. Not new to motorized toys... I'm into building motor bikes, motor wagons... Anything i can afford to... Just picked up a baja heat. Looking to learn what type of motor it is and easy , cheap upgrades...

Hey, welcome to OldMiniBikes.
Those usually came with a 196cc clone engine. Basically a 6.5 hp. Some had the lighting coiled engine. If not all.

Bunch of good builds on here using that bike as a base.

Now, what do you mean by a motorized wagon?

The motorized wagon, being a yard cart with a lil 49cc motor in it. Not very fast for racing, but helps a buddy lug wood across an acre of land to his house. Ill try to get a picture of it next time im out that way.

This motor does have the lighting coil, which is really the only thing stopping me from doing a 212 swap, unless that coil can be swapped into the hf motors.
