Mounting Plate, Motovox

Do you need any sort of mounting plate to put a Predator 212cc engine in the Motovox MBX10?

Or does it just bolt right in?

Thanks

No it doesn't bolt right on. You will have to drill new holes. I use the mounting plate because you can line your chain really easy, but if you don't use plate and just dril the holes using 212 as templet you have to make sure your chain lines up as straight as possible. And don't forget about your tensioner when doing so.

Sweet, so I can just go right ahead and buy a Predator 212cc with the mounting plate and I'll be set?

I never put a plate on any as I machine my own holes , but I know you have to drill holes to put the plate on a Doodle Bug , not sure on the Motovox ?
