Non keyed engine shaft clutch ?

Go I got a free 10 hp motor from my boss but it's not keyed and the shaft comes to a point I think it is off a generator . What would be the easiest way to get a clutch on there ?

Chances are the shaft is metric and useless unless its machined down to 3/4" then shortened then a key slot machined in it then the end is drilled and tapped OR you can buy a different crank

What is the engine for? Trike, mini bike ?

Tapered shaft could accept a Golf cart, Snowmobile clutch Or a serpentine belt drive..


Otherwise, it would be easier to get another engine or crankshaft.

The motor is for a mini I have boonie that I haven't worked on in a while
I was thinking of putting on there and using it as a snow mini I just need to find a ski for it but it looks like getting a new crank might be the easiest thing to do
