I work as a Material damage research and training co ordinator for a large auto insuror. What that means is I figure out how to fix the new tech in damaged cars and train estimators how long it will take to fix, as well as putting together technical courses that teach the proper procedures to do it.
(welding, metal working, materail identification, plastic repairs, aircon repairs.
electircal system Diagnosis and repair. Most every thing in a car that can be damaged as the result of a crash.
In other words, a car guy.
I am a drag racer and needed a pitt bike for the track, put together a Keystone like the one I had as a teen.
Mini bikes and Karts are what started me in my career path.
It's working so far!
Have a 10 second five liter, 73 Jag XKE Ragtop, 1968 dodge 440 six pack super bee and a whole bunch of small motored devices.
Three pocket bikes, a mini Quad. a chinese 250 4 stroke dirt bike, a Yamaha 250 golf cart, a 50cc wheelman two Keystone 2 strokes a 73 arctic cat ramrod.:grind:

auto mechanic of 20 so years. Unemployed since '04 for various personal reasons, unfortunately. Now on disability for back pain, and obesity. I try my hardest not to let it rule me, but sometimes its just too much. I'm in the process of restoring a '93 TaurusSHO for my brother, installing a new engine/trans and newer style subframe into my '93 TaurusGL, trying to turbo-fy my '89 Escort, and perform regular maintenance on my mom's and sister's cars. And I just started installing a torqe-a-verter onto our "suicycle" with the 7 horse Robin/Subbie motor.

Well.....full time low life biker scum , part time mchanic.LOL Ok im a disabled ex heavy truck mechanic. disabled due to 3 fused vertabrea in my neck and 1 in my back, work injury. cronic pain ,now treated with very heavy drugs :wink:. i ran a small motorcycle business out of my residence untill getting divorced and losing the home to her this summer. Now...???? hopefully find another place to set shop back up , sell parts on ebay , whatever it takes to hustle a few bucks.LOL with the pain sometimes im good for 4/6 hours in the shop, sometimes im not. take care all...jonnybiker
