I am putting together an old boonie bike and I need the following parts. The lever that attatches to the drum brake on the back wheel, the tailight/brakelight lens, and the brake lever for a 7/8" handlebar. Any help is appreciated
Just about completed my first mini project. Couldn't pass up the design of this bike. Took it for a test run and wasn't dissapointed! Now I just have to figure out the brake system I need to install. I'm trying to figure out disc brakes both front and back. Anyone have any pointers?
Picked up this boonie recently and I want to make my own chain guard.
I have read the threads and I'm aware there are figerglass repops available, but I would rather make my own. If anyone has an original and can give me some accurate measurements, it would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.
I just had a few of these made because of a few local requests because of such a high quality on my Ruttman Seats. These are better than the originals. Marine grade 1 1/2 inch pleats with padded foam. Nice 11/32 plywood base. The rear is digitized silk screened with the Logo. I used a better...
I am looking for a set of bonanza forks like bc1100. Also someone cut off the throttle side on another pair I have and welded a 7/8 back to it for the throttle. Also looking for the mount for a jackshaft on a boonie bike. Or dimensions. I have the outer sprocket and spring for the boonie I would...
Hi all,
I am new to this site and not really sure what I am doing but here goes anyway. My son recently purchased a stripped down boonie bike. We have picked up quite a few parts for it but we still need a seat and a gas tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
Offering up this nice Boonie bike I picked up a few weeks ago.
The frame is solid, but does have a couple added parts for the brakes and clutch cover. These could be left on and ridden just as it is, or removed easily if you want to go with a more original setup.
I have an original Boonie...
Hi there, I'm trying to put a Briggs and Stratton 10 hp motor off a generator on it and the motor just fits in the frame but I'm wondering what I'm going to have to do with the crank since its tapered and has no key way, has anyone here run into this before ? Any help is appreciated
This Boonie bike popped up on craigslist last week and I had my dad drive over and pick it up for me. I met up with my dad today and got the bike from him.
Not as completely original as I thought it was, but it's a pretty nice start.
The seat on it is in excellent shape. I did get a home...
Just a big heads up to anyone that needs a seat for their mini. Kenny is the man!!!! He did a seat for my boonie and its awesome. Well worth the money. I'll post pics tomorrow.
Thanks Kenny.
I saw that someone on this site was making seat covers for Boonies. Does anyone remember who was making them? This should be the last part I need to finish this project. I'll post pictures once completed.
Thanks
Not sure what all they cam on. I know the Boobie Bikes used speaker lights..
The bezel has some scuffs and dings.. Not as perfect as the pic shows, but not too bad.. No rust.. a couple small waves in the canister, but I'll fix that..
It's 12 volt right now, but can be 6 if you'd rather...
I took this off my Boonie since I had ksb8ball make me a new one . I will never use it. It works perfect for a big bike like a Boonie or Thomas etc
$35 shipped or trade for new #41 clutch 3/4 shaft
