I’m building a gokart out of an old Murray push mower and I’m gonna use a vertical shaft 4hp Flathead but if I build the motor can I run a 5hp horizontal crank and rod in it and still run it vertical or will I have to make modifications?

Hello all, I have a Briggs Intek 206 and I wanted to add a billet flywheel and con rod to it so I can safely remove the governor. Problem is, its box stock and I don't know what rod and flywheel to get. If anyone knows what length to get Id be stoked. Thanks!

There's a listing on craigslist listing for a 5hp briggs and stratton and it looks decent the guy said $60 and its mine it starts on starter fluid he said but then dies so its probably a carb issue. Is this a good price and will it be a cheap fix?

i've got to thinking about building a bike with two meth burning briggs engines, with the clutch, is there a special sprocket for engine #2? say if one engine is running more rpm than the other, will it be pulling? something where if the front engine is pulling, it has like a ratcheting effect...
