    1924 Armstead Snow Motors project

Less than two wheels on this one. Black and White, no sound, but I still felt that it was worth 11 minutes of my time to watch. Gave me some ideas for next winter's project. Armstead Snow Motors Company concept snow vehicle

    OK-Lets's See Your Snow Thrower

It's snowing here in New York, I don't have a mini that I cant ride in the snow yet and I'm bored. I thought that I'd start a thread about snow throwers being that we often send them to the scrap yard after we salvage the engine, shafts and drives. So here we go....This past summer I picked up...

    Snow bolwer motor on mini?

I'm sure this can be done, but I really don't know too much about small engines. I see alot of snow blower motors for sale that have the usual main shaft, but also have another shaft on them as well. Can you take the other shaft off easily? Cut it off? You can pick up these motors pretty cheap...

    Heald Snow Ski

I've admired the Heald bikes for years, especially with the optional ski on the front, but have often wondered, how well do they work? Has anyone actually blasted off through the snow on one? Do they hold up any better than the fenders? I'd like to build one to mess around with, if anyone has...

Snow ski idea for my Baja

I may have a lead on a single ski-doo ski and spring, thinking all I would need to do is fab up an axle that fits through the ski eyelet and then thread ends to bolt onto the forks on my baja heat 6.5 Sounds just too eay though. Can anyone think of any other obstacle I may run into (except...

    Homemade tire chains, less then$10

Ok so ive been looking at different ways of making my DB30 better in the snow. Without wanting t mod the frame and add a track, i decided tire chains would be the easiest to get, install and uninstall. I looked for tire chains that would be the right size but didnt find many options. The ones i...

    Improvements for snow riding?

Im looking for ways to make my db30 better for the snow. Aside from studding the tires, putting a ski in the front, or adding a track in the rear, what are my options for better handling? What do all of you do in the snow. Ive taken it out in about 6 inches of snow and it works better then my go...

Baja heat + snow = fun ride

I went ahead and put the jackshaft back on my baja heat Sunday, although I liked the higher top speed the gearing was way too much for trail riding and going up any hills It had snowed here last week and some ice came down Sunday but I simply had to test ride it when I was done To say the...

    dreaded snow

This question is about snow removal options . Of course there is the scoop shovel for a low price for a good Ames Poly Hog feed scoop for about $ 27.00 That's easy but how well do small electric shovels do? And what is bad or good about gas powered single and double stage machines? Now...

    My snow shovel intake

Here is an intake I made using a curved section of pipe from an old snow shovel handle.... This worked out great, it curved my carb back and inwards instead of sticking straight out the side like most clone intakes.... I have to put in a fitting for my fuel pump and then smooth out some of the...
