I wanted a 70's retro bling sort of look. Base coat black, taped off for gold flake, and then faded in candy apple red flake. Then sanded back lightly to give a vintage look, and first of many coats of clear. This is my first mini bike build and my first paint job. It was a lot of work but fun.

Sanded and de-greased almost ready for primer ... luckily I have a friend who has a paint booth I could use after hours so late nights hear I come!

More parts than I had imagined, and lots of red powder coat dust later...

Faded original powder coating, not pretty but rust free so it did its job! I wanted more 70's glitz though so time to tear it all down and get out the 3M scuff pads and sand paper

Original motor I think, took it out and built a 212cc Harbor Freight Predator with modifications.

Original brake, changed the pads ... still not really effective it slows it down but now it has about 10 horses it needs more, that is next on the to do list.

$60 and it ran once I cleaned the carbs, put in fresh gas, and changed the oil! Rode it once and then I tore it apart for more CCs and noise.

Wondering just what this is/was. Not sure how to tell the difference between the Baja Warrior, Baja Heat, Mini Baja and Mini Baja - CARB. The specs all look the same.
