stuff to add .. fuel line,fuel pump, top plate assembly for both throttle and fuel pump Question... Can I place a T in between the new fuel line of the stock breather hole in the valve cover & new line & a catch can ?

I recently purchased the Tecumseh carb for my HM80 and it has a hose nipple besides the fuel line nipple. Can someone tell me what it's for? I have determined the nylon fitting is for the fuel line. I don't know what the aluminum fitting is for.

though I like minibikes this time the question is for a mower. So is the only option for a warped fuel tank the roll pin and nylon washer(B&S repair part) or replacing the tank, are there any other options
