I just picked up and old T-bird. The plastic pet cock is broken off the original plastic tank. Is there any way I can save this tank? Can I replace the pet cock with a brass one and is there any fool proof way of joining the brass to plastic so that I won't be chasing leaks forever? Also if...
Need one for a cylindrical tank going on a 580. Advice on fabrication one is also appreciated, since that's probably what I'll need to do.
Thanks in advance.
Just picked up an '02 Flee, want to put the original tank back on the ASAP, as it just looks ghetto with its current setup (allthough it works great). I'm confused as to how it would have originally been setup though as the original tank just has the petcock outlet and thats it (typical vintage...
OldMiniBikes has 3 to choose from. this is going on the GX390. lift is no more than 3 inches. tank outlet is lower than it should and moving the tank is not an option. i could build another tank but want to ride. not sure if these will pump enough for a 390 or not. any thoughts on these?

i was looking for a fuel tank for my grandsons hawg ty, his cracked & was leaking. buckeye said he was putting a remote tank on his baja & wouldn't need the engine mounted tank. he sent the tank for free & didn't want the shipping charges either. i was able to talk him into accepting a donation...
I think this might be a good investment! I remember a couple years ago at potland the gas we bought locally was so watered down our bikes ran like crap!

HI I was wondering if anyone had a 5 hp Briggs that they relocated the tank. I know the carb kinda sits in the tank and was wondering if there was any solutions I want to run a gas tank on the frame. Thanks :glare:
Are those older Tillotson glass fuel bowls, usually found on 8 HP horizontal Briggs, suppose to have a fuel filter in them?
The bowl seems mighty big for just a sight glass. Even NOS ones just don't seem to have a filter in them. I would have figured they would have originally had...
Nice vintage dual chamber tank. Looks identical to a tank I had off a vintage saw powered by a Power Products AH58. Super nice...could be NOS...clean as a whistle inside and out.....both caps are there with internal vent gaskets. All threads are good. (No bottom fittings included, I just took...

I am building this 390 for the build-off and trying to decide where to take the pulse tap from. I am thinking to use the low oil sensor wire hole,or the governor shaft hole. The low oil sensor hole is in line with the rod and probably would have a lot of oil getting to the fuel pump. Would...
been having a problem with my walbro fuel pump.. fuel leaks out of the top vent hole and no gas will get to the carb.. I don't know what's wrong
when I say leaks I mean there's a steady stream of gas flowing out if gas tank is filled and the leak dies down when there's not as much gas in the...
I am looking for an older generation Predator 212cc fuel tank black with the gas cap on the right. I just purchased the engine new and the gas tank on it has the gas cap in the middle. This puts the gas cap underneath the frame making it impossible to refuel. Anybody got one?

thanks for your help.
I received favorable comments regarding the aluminum fuel tank I fabricated for my Motovox MBX10 project. Some have shown an interest as to wether I planned on producing those tanks for sale. I am purchasing material and starting to fabricate the parts necessary to produce 5 more of these tanks...
Installed fuel pump on my super bronc with a hm100 . I used the block pulse fitting that the stock one ran off of . The pump works just fine but it seeps oil out of the back of the pump . Is this normal ? could I use the breather tube that comes out the little valve cover ? The block pulse...
