$200+ for a blown Tec engine?

I saw this on Ebay, but didn't look at all the pictures until a few minutes ago. I'm guessing the bidders might have done the same. I know it has a lighting coil/flywheel, and that 631588 diaphragm carb is worth a bit, but who pays that for a blown engine? That's at the top of it's value in my opinion, especially when you consider that the ID/Seria plate is missing.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I'm sure a non-blown lighted Rupp Engine is worth at least $350 to the right buyer, I just can't fathom paying that much for a blown engine. You'd have to tear it all the way down and swap the parts over to a new block, go ahead and do the rings, gaskets and seals. Just seems like too much work for the money is all.

I've bought from Paul quite a few times and normally, he's pretty fair with his prices. I guess he can't control what other people bid though. I'm glad he's going to make some money on it.
