Interesting I have seen a couple Savages now that appeared to have a Briggs original to it...but have never seen a brochure pic of anything but a 2-stroke Westbend or Clinton....:shrug:

Nice bike, I'd love to have one but everyone wants twice to ten times the value for theirs when selling. I'd be hard pressed to pay the starting bid for it given the true original engine is evidently long gone. I'm fairly certain they had the West Bend 700 stock.

was thinking the same thing. one is even sideways. get better lighting, larger pics and add a few closeups! help a buyer to see! only way to have a chance.
