Minibike looks a lot like a rupp. The right jackshaft bracket was cut back. The closest part I could find with swingarm hole on one side and bearing hole was a rupp. It's too small. Clark bracket is much bigger.
Now I am looking for correct bracket or maybe using round type on this site to weld...
Could really use some help figuring out how to get this kart rolling well. We've tried a couple different belt lengths, but the belts were V-shaped (symmetrical) and didn't move the driver clutch well.
The set up is a Comet 30 clutch with a Max Torque pulley clutch. I don't know if this...
am trying to figure out my best gear ratios to order new jackshaft gears and am a bit confused.
my stats are as follows.
12t clutch - 20t input js - 8t output js - 30t rear gearplate.
tire is 16` high.
this puts me around 6.5 ratio as far as i comprehend but whats the top speed going to be>...
I see several on Ebay and wonder if any would work with my trail bug project. My dad tossed mine as a kid when the chain started jumping and we went with one longer chain instead of two. The attached pic is not my bike but an example of what it looks like. Any suggestions?
Today I got a couple of master links so I can install the chain. Clutch to jackshaft-no problem. Jackshaft to rear sprocket doesn't seem right. The front sprocket looks angled and with engine mount bolts loose doesn't seem to want to align straight. I am wondering if does the jackshaft assembly...
I know I've seen a thread discussing this? I did a search and can't find it. What are the stock sizes/ part nos for the jackshaft sprockets? Are both 12T sprockets or is the outboard a 13T ( #124 )? The Blackwidow parts diagram lists
XL 500
#Item 123 - 12T sprocket /part number 12315
# Item...
Hey been a while since I've been to the forum so here it goes. I just purchased a Pmr Jackshaft. I want more torque not worried about speed. Ok the sprocket on the hf 6.5 shaft has a 13t sprocket, and the doodle bug has a 72t on the rear wheel sprocket. The jack shaft also came with a 13 & 15...
This is, I believe, the swingarm from a TrailHorse. The two speed and one jackshaft plate is included. Two speed seems to function correctly. Sprag sprocket locks one way and spins the other like it's supposed to. Axle adjusters/tensioners are in good shape and complete.

I picked up these pieces separately, but they're made for each other. The Jackshaft 2 speed looks NOS, new teeth, everything looks great. The clutch is used but the shoes have lots of life left. Nothing is stuck. The inside of the clutch has slight pitting on one side, but I doubt it would...
I'm working on an old Bonanza for a friend of mine.
I has been google image searching for the last few hours and cannot find a picture like what I'm working with.
The problem is the chain will not stay on for more than 50 feet (if you're that lucky) before falling off and wreck havoc (chain...
I have searched the forum with no luck so far. im running a predator 212 hemi head with boxstock bored carb mod 1 cam 18# springs and i bought a jackshaft but was wonder ing about the ratio i have a 12 tooth clutch and 54 rear sprocket the jack shaft is 13 and 15. One way i get a ratio close to...
I installed the jackshaft kit on my mb80 yesterday. The chains arent too tight but when i crank the bike up theres a grinding noise. Feels like the clutch is trying to engage and the bike dies because the carb isnt being opened. I checked to make sure the crank bolt wasnt too tight. While riding...
Hi, I'm looking for a complete jackshaft assembly (gear to gear) for a 1970 Rupp Roadster. If anyone has all the pieces I'm looking for let me know.
Reply here or PM. Thanks!!
Steve
Looking for a two-speed jackshaft assembly. Needs to be clean and fully functional. Shaft diameter of 5/8" is best, and needs to be at least 8.5 inches long.
