I went to look at what I think is a Speedway today. At first glance it looked good and I was going to buy it then I saw the engine mount plate and jack shaft were cut out and some other plate welded in. He was going to make it a straight chain bike... What is this and is it worth fixing it up...

OK, I am going to put this out to everyone. I am restoring a VT-3 and as usual, the front fender is cracked around the mounting holes. I don't think they are too bad. What's the best way to fix this and get it ready for the plater?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Doc

I have a used but complete original tc-1 with belt. Cover is cracker though but still good for a rider with some fixing up. Asking $100 obo.

So my rear tire was flat and i hoped that filling it up would be the fix, but unfortunately there is a slow leak from it (drains the tire in a few seconds with weight on it) but the hole is about the size of a pinhole, i think its too small to get a plug into it. Any ideas how to fix it?

i noticed it drips when i got this bike, its my flamed ram....today i rode the hell out of it and its a steady drip coming from the bottom of the tank...i know they welded it to the bracket, im guessing it put a pin hole in it...so how do you fix a leak with out destroying my paint?

I found an easy way to cut the high spot off an ez spin cam. I chucked the cam in my metal lathe and used a dial indicator to see where the high spot was. Then I put the cutter on the bottom of the lobe and turned the lathe chuck back and forth by hand to shave off the spot .This about .010 high...
